designed as a greeting card and not issued commercially this SCARCE screenprint was printed in 5 colours to the edges of the sheet on rough hand-made paper by Lurdes Castro and René Berthelo, Paris
the total edition of 120 numbered prints was made up of two different images, both illustrated in Riviére : Vieira da Silva : Les Estampes, the catalogue raisonée, printed with different variations of colours, a third version (as is ours) was printed as a combination of the two images; how many of the edition were printed in this way is not known
